SUMMARY

My name is meresa Ateng and Iam a qualified Library Assistant with employment experience at a number of institutions, the current being Egerton University. I offer a conscientious and methodical approach to my work, Iam very well organized and efficient,and have an excellent record in time keeping and attendance.Meresa is a powerful force in the workplace and uses her positive and tireless energy to build team work.I am passionate and highly effective with success in instructional strategies to facilitate information resources accessibility to satisfy users needs.  I am computer literate and have Bachelor degree in library and information science.

My main responsibilities are; shelving charging and discharging information materials,stock-taking,cataloguing and classifying infomation materials,orientation of new users,processing of new infomation materials,offering reference services and keeping records.

My main focus is to utilize my knowledge and skills coupled with experience to convert organizational goals into a reality in the best way possible.

To provide quality services to users inorder to satisfy their information needs hence enhancing their academic achievement or efficient academic work
