On behalf of the Egerton University fraternity, I wish to congratulate His Excellency Governor Lee Kinyanjui and the County Government of Nakuru on achieving the status of the fourth city in Kenya, which is a milestone that deserves recognition.

Egerton University being the only public university in the County is committed to supporting our new city by producing quality graduates and highly qualified staff, in research and innovations, and through community outreach that enhances Nakuru’s economy. We look forward to the establishment of Lord Egerton Agricity Industrial Park within Egerton University.

We are at the forefront of environmental conservation as part of our core values, which is in tandem with the county’s continuous efforts, especially in the conservation of the Mau Ecosystem and rehabilitation of the Njoro River.

We shall continue with our partnerships with the Office of the Governor of Nakuru County as a world class university for the advancement of humanity.
