RE:   E-LEARNING DISCOUNTED BUNDLE

This is to inform all Academic staff and Students that KENET in collaboration with Kenyan Higher Education Institutions and Mobile Network providers (Safaricom, Airtel Network and Telkom Kenya) have come up with E-Learning Discounted Bundles for the higher education community. Here are the details.

Registration of Mobile Numbers:

1. To enable students and staff register for this, ICT Section created institutional emails for all the members of staff and students. Those who do not own one are advised to consult ICT Manager through the email: ictmanager@egerton.ac.ke.
2. Egerton University forwarded mobile number details for students to KENET for activation;

Staff and students whose mobile numbers are not yet activated are advised to register for the discounted bundles at the KENET registration portal at https://registration.kenet.or.ke/registration using their institutional emails (e.g. 12345@egerton.ac.ke).

Below are the negotiated pre-paid bundle plans.

1. Safaricom - 10GB/month data bundle at KES 500.
2. Telkom Kenya - 10GB/month data bundle at KES 350.
3. Airtel Networks - 12GB/month data bundle at KES 500 (yet to be confirmed).
