Egerton University Students have reported back and resumed learning in Njoro, and Nakuru Town Campus College. The University opened on Friday 6th January 2023 for the continuation of its academic programmes.

Vice-Chancellor Professor Isaac Kibwage welcomed the students and urged them to focus on their studies. He further asked the learners to make use of the library services, exploit their talent, and be innovative as they study.

“I look forward to excellent results when we graduate our students in the coming months. Those with challenges should shy away from seeking help from our offices. The challenges could be social, academic, health, and many other forms of challenges. We are ready to listen and give appropriate help to our students when they are on campus,” said Prof Kibwage.

The University Director of Marketing and Resource Mobilization Professor Paul Kimurto said the Semester began well.

“Students are ongoing with registration for their courses and this semester. It is a new year and we expect to achieve more in growing the University’s academic programmes, extra-curricular activities, Research, and Innovations,” Said, Prof. Kimurto.

Deputy Vice-Chancellor of Administration Planning and Development Professor Richard Mulwa opined that the University is ready to handle the students and has created a conducive environment.

“We look forward to smooth operations and good industrial relations. I urge students to focus on their studies to ensure that they finish their studies well,” said Prof. Mulwa.
