This is to remind you that you all have official email addresses which you acquired upon being admitted to the University. The format of the email address is

lastname.regno@student.egerton.ac.ke

EXAMPLE: Joseph Kamau of Reg. No: S11/12345/20, Email address would be kamau.1234520@student.egerton.ac.ke

You can check out your email address from the portal under the My profile - Contacts icon when you login to your portal.

Email Access

To access the Email use the GMAIL login interface (www.gmail.com). Under email or phone number, input the whole email address as it appears.

e.g kamau.1234520@student.egerton.ac.ke

The default password is egerton2019 of which you will be required to create a new password upon login. You can also configure your smartphones by adding your egerton email to your google account and setting up the gmail app.

Kindly note that henceforth, all official communication will be sent to your emails including notices. You are therefore advised to frequently check your emails.
