Egerton University will hold its 44th Graduation ceremony through virtual platform on 10th December 2021. To ensure a smooth graduation process and enhance accuracy and speed of processing of certificates, the prospective graduands are requested to observe the following and strictly adhere to the specified deadlines.
Attached is a list of 895 entries relating to funds deposited into the various university bank accounts and whose depositors and purposes for the deposits have been difficult to identify.
Please check and come forward with supporting evidence if you made the deposits in order to enable us to update our records accordingly.

Reference is made to our earlier notice dated 21st September 2021 regarding closure of portal for registration for Semester II (2017 and 2018 cohorts) and Semester I (2019, 2020 and 2021 cohorts) running from September – December 2021.
Following the interview process carried out by the Public Service Commission (PSC) and after consultation with the Cabinet Secretary for Education, in exercise of the provisions of Section 35(1)(a)(v) of the Universities Act, 2012, we, the Egerton University Council, have on this 5th Day of October 2021 appointed Prof. Isaac Ongubo Kibwage, HSC as the new Vice-Chancellor of Egerton University.
The students who have applied for HELB loans and have challenges with allocation or disbursement to provide their details through the form in the link provided. In remarks state whether previously deferred.
Egerton University wishes to notify all students that a Resit/Special Examination session has been scheduled to take place between 2nd and 12th November 2021. This is to enable all students with pending Resit/Special examinations clear their F grades.

The Directorate of Quality Assurance (DQA) carries out Teaching Effectiveness Evaluation (TEE) and Practical Instruction Effectiveness Evaluation (PIEE) of all lecturers in every semester.
By this notice all students are required to evaluate all Lecturers who taught them during the semester by filling the online questionnaire which can be accessed in the student’s portal.
The Resit/Special Examination Timetable for Undergraduate and Postgraduate students in the 2019/2020 (2015 and 2016 cohorts) is ready. The examinations are scheduled to start on Monday 30th August 2021 and end on Friday 3rd September 2021.
The above mentioned examinations will be conducted in four (4) sessions over a five-day period. The morning and afternoon sessions will comprise two sessions each.
